North american National Insurance Company (ANICO) is known as a major American insurance corporation based in Galveston, Texas. The corporation and the subsidiaries operate in every 40 U. S. states and Puerto Rico.
North american National was founded in 1905 by Galveston entrepreneur William Lewis Moody, Junior. Today the company presents many insurance products which include life insurance coverage, annuities, health insurance, property and casualty insurance, credit insurance, and pension check plan services. Through their subsidiary, ANREM, the firm founded and developed the large-scale housing development, Southerly Shore Harbour, in Category City, Texas.
