Amica Mutual Insurance is a north american mutual insurance company which sells vehicle, homeowners, marine, personal umbrella liability, and a life insurance policy, founded in 1907. It utilizes more than 3, 2 hundred persons in 40 office buildings across the United Claims, and is headquartered in Lincoln, Rhode Island.
Auto Mutual Insurance Company of America was founded simply by A. T. Vigneron in 1907 in Providence, Rhode Island, offering auto, flames and theft insurance.

Amica was organized as a mutual insurance company, which means that the company was held by policyholders instead of stockholders.

In 1941, Amica exposed its first branch workplace in Boston, Massachusetts. The company added homeowners' insurance in 1956 and after added marine and exclusive excess liability insurance. In the 1970s, Amica Existence Insurance began. In year 1994, Amica's corporate offices relocated from Providence, Rhode Area, to a much bigger campus in near by Lincoln subsequently.
